Mission of the Rosen Research Institute (RRI)
At the Rosen Research Institute, our mission is to transform lives through knowledge, justice, and compassion, grounded in the timeless principles of Isaiah 1:17: “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression.” We are dedicated to addressing systemic challenges and advocating for justice that reflects the heart of God—justice that is restorative, redemptive, and transformative.
We recognize the pervasive brokenness in systems of law enforcement, state prosecution, and large institutions, where abuses of power, corruption, and oppressive practices often work to silence voices seeking truth and accountability. These systems, designed to uphold justice and protect communities, too often fail in their mission, perpetuating inequity and injustice instead. Our work seeks to expose and correct these systemic failures through the following core commitments:
- Advancing Restorative Justice: Aligning with God’s justice, which heals and restores rather than merely punishes, we strive to reform institutions that prioritize self-preservation over truth and accountability. We work to uncover systemic corruption and advocate for policies that protect the vulnerable, ensuring justice is served equitably.
- Empowering the Oppressed: Guided by a vision of justice that uplifts the oppressed, sets captives free, and corrects inequities, we focus on advocacy and support for individuals whose voices have been silenced by oppressive systems. Whether through research, education, or legal support, we stand with those seeking justice against powerful entities such as law enforcement agencies, state prosecutors, and large corporations or institutions.
- Challenging Abuses of Power: We are committed to shining a light on the ways law enforcement and state prosecution, in coordination with influential institutions, can use their power to suppress dissent, retaliate against advocates, and obstruct truth. By holding these systems accountable, we aim to restore trust and integrity where it has been broken.
- Championing Mercy and Transformation: We draw inspiration from the transformative justice demonstrated on the cross, where God’s justice and mercy meet. RRI seeks not only to confront systemic injustice but also to create pathways for individuals and communities to rebuild, heal, and move toward a future defined by hope and redemption.
- Fostering Knowledge and Learning: Through rigorous research and technological advancements, we aim to empower future generations to recognize systemic corruption and dismantle structures that perpetuate injustice. Our work equips individuals with the tools to engage meaningfully in the fight for a more just, equitable, and compassionate society.
The Rosen Research Institute is unafraid to challenge powerful institutions when they seek to silence truth and suppress justice. Guided by God’s vision of justice—one that integrates mercy, love, and restoration—we call others to learn to do good, seek justice, and actively correct oppression. Together, we can confront the brokenness in our systems, hold institutions accountable, and transform lives by pursuing justice that heals and restores.
